The Texas City-La Marque Chamber of Commerce will hold its 51st Annual Membership Banquet and Reception in January at the Charles T. Doyle Convention Center.
It’s is a time to reflect on the past year and recognize outstanding Chamber members and volunteers. Outstanding Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year, Community Service Award, Ambassadors of the Year, Chairman’s Award and more. It’s also the time to introduce our incoming Board of Directors and thank our outgoing Board. A premier event every year, and as tradition goes, there is a new theme each year. It is a night to thank members for their patronage, give out prestigious awards, and celebrate the chamber community.
The Board of Directors and Staff of the Texas City – La Marque Chamber of Commerce celebrated in style at the 50th Annual Membership Banquet & Reception on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the Doyle Convention Center. “Stronger Together since 1969,” the Chamber celebrated 50 years of serving the businesses and community of Texas City and La Marque.
2018 Chairman, Pete Dunn, Jr., of Dunn Heat Exchangers, passed the gavel to the 2019 Chairman, Sergio Matute, Eastman Chemical.
The chamber installed the 2019 officers and directors, and awarded plaques to the 2018 Leadership Mainland graduates.
